Analog -
Displacement Sensors: Provide a linear voltage or current output
proportional to the target distance. These sensors are used at shorter
ranges (<1m) for precise control and operate in proximity mode
using either LED or LASER light sources. For longer ranges (>1m),
refer to Distance sensors. |

Distance (SmartRange):
These sensors operate in proximity or reflex (reflector) mode to
measure longer object distances for a variety of automation
applications. Reflector based models measure distances to 250m and,
proximity units have scanning ranges to 10m. |

commonly used for registration mark detection in packaging and
printing applications. |

Multi-Beam
sensors: Includes Measuring Light Grids and Optical Windows.
They are used for object detection, counting, and measuring;

Common applications are parts ejection counting and object detection
and sorting in material handling and conveying equipment. |

Includes cylindrical, rectangular and DIN rail mounted amplifiers.
Fiber optic cables are available in armored glass and plastic cores to
